Caren formed The Lichter Group in November 2007 specializing in the Real Estate, Medical and Professional Service industries.  In addition, Caren's 25 years of experience includes individual and business tax planning services and business operations consulting.

Prior to opening The Lichter Group, Caren was the Principal of the Commercial and Emerging Business Group in the Baltimore office of the national accounting firm Reznick Group.  She joined the firm in November 1993 after spending the previous nine years at Walpert Smullian & Blumenthal.

Caren received a Bachelor of Science degree in May 1986 from the University of Baltimore.  She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Maryland Association of CPA's.

Caren is involved in The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore and is on the Board of the Baltimore Design School, a transformation school opening in Baltimore City in September 2011.
